Why the name Orange Sands?

Orange Sands, L.L.C. was formed in January 2007 by the husband and wife team of Shane and Stacey. Shane is Australian and Stacey spent a large part of her life living there. When trying to choose a business name we were surrounded by gorgeous photos of the orange sandy Australian Outback and decided to choose a name that reflected home. Orange Sands was born and we have been answering questions about it ever since.

About Shane

Shane primarily does Project Management, Linux and Porting Consulting; his clients include Walmart and Novell.

About Stacey

Stacey has been working in web development since 1997. She has worked with various government departments including the Australian Film Commission and the Australian Film and Sound Archive. In the past few years she has mainly been developing WordPress templates and manipulating it to act as a Content Management System. Her goal is to create websites that her clients can maintain with minimum effort.
